Description

The Aloha Financial Advisors (AFA) Platform Lead is responsible for building, scaling, and leading AFA within the North American platform.

This is not a traditional management role. It is a platform-building role.

This is an early-stage platform opportunity with existing infrastructure, active growth initiatives, and executive-level commitment to scaling AFA into a core business line.

You will recruit, develop, and structure advisor units aligned with TPBC’s values and standards, while implementing repeatable systems for onboarding, advisor development, and performance accountability.

This role combines strategic leadership, disciplined recruiting, advisor development, and operational execution.

Your mandate is to transform AFA from an initiative into a scalable, durable platform.

This role reports directly to executive leadership and works closely with key stakeholders across distribution, operations, and strategy.

About Us

Do you want to help people create a more secure financial future for their families and future generations?

Become part of an organization grounded in impact, purpose, and long-term thinking. We carry the spirit of Aloha into every client interaction, supporting families through a global network of financial professionals and specialists known as our Ohana.

Founded in 1992, The Pacific Bridge Companies (TPBC) builds on a legacy that dates back to the 1930s, when our founder’s grandfather helped eliminate discriminatory practices in the life insurance industry in the United States.

Today, we focus on helping clients navigate increasingly complex global financial lives. As clients operate across borders, they face challenges across insurance, investments, banking, tax, and legal systems. We equip advisors with the tools, planning strategies, and professional network needed to guide clients wherever life takes them.

What began with a focus on Asia and the United States has evolved into a broader global platform. That growth is driving the need for this role.

Why This Role is Different

For Captive or Breakaway Advisors

  • Build your own advisor organization within an established platform
  • Operate with independence, without product constraints or forced production models
  • Access advanced planning support across insurance, investments, and cross-border strategies
  • Leverage existing infrastructure rather than starting from zero
  • Create long-term economics through team and unit development

For BGA / IMO Leaders

  • Lead and scale a true advisor platform, not just a distribution channel
  • Access institutional infrastructure including Ideas Center, cross-border expertise, and operational support
  • Strengthen recruiting with differentiated global planning capabilities
  • Build enterprise value and long-term platform economics, not just overrides
  • Partner directly with executive leadership to shape strategy and direction

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-caliber advisors and Unit Managers
  • Establish and enforce advisor standards and production benchmarks
  • Design and implement structured onboarding processes
  • Build advisor progression pathways, including early-stage, mid-level, and leadership tracks
  • Partner with the Ideas Center to deliver technical and product training
  • Ensure compliance, licensing, and operational alignment across advisor units
  • Develop recruiting pipelines targeting:
    • Captive advisors seeking independence
    • Experienced advisors seeking a more professional platform
  • Protect platform culture and avoid volume-driven recruiting models
  • Collaborate with marketing to strengthen AFA positioning and messaging
  • Track key performance metrics and report on advisor and platform growth

What Success Looks Like (First 12–24 Months)

  • Recruit and onboard an initial core group of high-quality advisors
  • Identify and develop 2–3 emerging Unit Managers or team leaders
  • Implement a structured onboarding and advisor development system
  • Establish clear production benchmarks and accountability standards
  • Build a sustainable recruiting pipeline of experienced advisors
  • Contribute to defining the long-term structure and scalability of the AFA platform

You’re the Ideal Candidate If You Are

  • A proven builder of teams or platforms, not solely a personal producer
  • Comfortable recruiting experienced advisors rather than entry-level volume
  • Able to enforce performance standards while maintaining a strong culture
  • Structured and clear in communication and execution
  • Entrepreneurial, but disciplined in approach
  • Motivated by building something durable rather than short-term compensation
  • Comfortable operating within a defined platform architecture
  • Values-aligned with Mahalo, Aloha, Ohana, Pono, and Imua

What You Will Gain

  • Leadership of a defined, high-priority growth platform
  • Compensation aligned with long-term unit and platform success
  • Access to a full-service Ideas Center for advanced case design and support
  • Institutional credibility within a global advisory ecosystem
  • Opportunity to build a durable advisor network under your leadership
  • Direct partnership with executive leadership and platform architects

*Compensation

Base Salary + Performance-Based Incentive Compensation

Target total compensation: $120,000 to $200,000+ for a successful candidate

Compensation is designed to reward:

  • Advisor recruiting and team development
  • Platform growth and scalability
  • Achievement of production and performance benchmarks

High performers who successfully build and scale advisor units will have the opportunity to exceed target compensation through incentive structures aligned with long-term platform growth.
